Managing Categories, Status and Priorities
Under the Settings tab, you can manage categories, statuses, and priorities.  You can use the default options or create your own by clicking "Settings" in tasks.
When you select any dropdown, the right panel will open and you can add, delete or customize any option.  Categories are integrated in multiple areas of Perseptiv like Tasks, Meeting Minutes and Accomplishments.
Managing Task and Accomplishment Snippets
Task and Accomplishment snippets allow you to create repeatable content that can be used throughout the system.  Perseptiv provides default content to get you started.  You can customize any of the existing content by clicking the pencil (
) button next to the snippet.  You can also create any of your own content by clicking "Add Snippet".
When you click "Add Snippet", a dialog box will appear and you can select the Category the content will be classified under, enter a Task description, and enter an Accomplishment description.  Once saved, these tasks will be available in the system to be applied to a plan and once completed, the accomplishments text will be automatically added to the Accomplishments section and report.
Creating and Managing Task Templates
In addition to single/individual tasks, you can create and manage task "templates".  Task templates are used to manage multi-step tasks. You can nest tasks under a main task. These can be added by selecting "template" next to "settings".
You can edit, clone or delete existing templates or create new ones by select "Add Template".  For existing templates, you will see the template name under the Template column and the list of tasks associated with the template under the Task column.
To create a new template, you give it a name (e.g. New Client Onboarding) and then add individual tasks to it.  For each task, select the category, task (this can be custom or selected from the existing options in the category), any accomplishment text, priority and assignee(s).  You can also add addition notes/details to provide context. You can create unlimited tasks or "nest" tasks underneath one another.  To nest them, make sure the "Parent" task is assigned.
